CHL Oregon & Utah Instructional Training

What you need to know:

• We will be covering a lot of content with limited breaks throughout the day. Please bring note taking materials.

  Upon completion of the CHL instructional training you will be given all the information needed to contact the Sheriff office to apply for your CHL license.

  • Oregon you’ll receive a certificate of completion which is mandatory to apply for your Oregon CHL.
  • Utah you’ll receive a certificate of completion, passport photos and fingerprints can be provided for a fee. All are required to be submitted when applying for your Utah CHL.

  Tip – For Oregon CHL applicants – In Oregon, a CHL appointment is required. It is likely your County Sheriff department is scheduling appointments months out. We encourage you to schedule your appointment as soon as possible. When doing so make sure you select a date after you have completed your CHL instructional training.
