Tac Pistol Responding To The Active Shooter (Hosted by LLB LLC)

Purpose: This 1-day custom class is designed for those who may not have immediate access to a long gun while responding to an active killer situation. For situations that require precision at greater distances and in crowded environments, engaging threats while moving as a sole respondent or with a partner. The class is applicable to school resource officers, private security, investigators, mountain bike officers, probation and parole, etc.

Training goals:

• Increase personal safety and reduce liability in deadly force situations through challenging live fire training exercises relative to environments such as a school, church, courtroom, parking lot, mall, etc.
• Improve operator’s handgun skills with a challenging and safe training environment which allows for exploration of current abilities and to provide opportunities to improve shooting discipline and operational performance in chaotic environments. This will be achieved with minimum classroom and maximum range exposure. **Case study work will be provided at the time of registration. Participants are highly encouraged to review those prior to class.Attendee Requirements:Full range or duty gear specific to job assignment or environment
  300-400 rounds of pistol ammunition>Pace your ammo consumption
  Brimmed hat, ear protection, and wrap around shatter resistant eye protection
  Water or a hydration system and simple form of carbohydrate
  Proper dress for weather conditions
  ***Active law enforcement, security, military credentials or proof of concealed weapons permit and drawing from a holster proficiency is mandatory.
