Krystal’s Story

In Memory Of

Krystal Jones

Where do I begin. I first met Krystal in 2014, she came to me for help. She was living in a DV situation and was in fear. I met a woman who was scared, but wanted to be able to protect herself and her 2 boys. She took a CHL course from me, then joined us on the range. All of the original ladies in our group took her in, treated her like family. As her experience grew, so did her confidence. She was no longer living in fear. There was tremendous growth in her. She Became a NRA Certified RSO and worked with me on the line. I trusted her with my life and she trusted me. She was solid. She got a good job with LCC as part of their Public Safety Department. She was really on her way and was thriving.
The woman I first met was gone, I was so proud of her accomplishments. That all changed when she met him. I warned her. He was evil incarnate. As an advocate I’ve seen so much death, so much carnage. Probably more than most other civilians, but one that is the hardest part about this is for me is that there is no new law, no new regulation, that would have prevented this tragedy. He was EVIL, evil will find a way every time.

If there is someone in your life that lives in fear,  speak out! Be that advocate they desperately need. I couldn’t save her, but this story could save someone else. Rest easy Krystal, we will see justice through.
